Crew 29 is the Venturing crew chartered by the Lions Club of Rocklin—the same family as Pack 29, Troop 29, and Troop 219.
Venturing is Scouting for older youth. Members plan the calendar, pick the outings, and run the crew. Adults advise. The crew decides.
If you have finished Scouts BSA and want more say in where you go next—or you are new to Scouting and ready for high adventure—this is that next step.
Who we are
Crew 29 is open to young men and women ages 14 through 20 (13 and finished with the eighth grade is also eligible). We belong to Scouting America and the Lions Club of Rocklin, which have supported Scouting in this city for decades.
The path here is familiar: dens and packs, then a troop, then a crew that sets its own course. High adventure, service, leadership, and skills you choose—not a program handed down week by week.
What we do
A Venturing crew is youth-led. Officers and members:
Expect time outdoors, real responsibility, and a crew that looks like the rest of the Rocklin Scouting family: Pack 29, Troop 29, Troop 219, and the Lions who charter all of us.
